About the Owner, Tammie
Tammie’s passion for animals began at just 14 years old when she started her first job at a local grooming and pet store. From feeding and caring for a variety of animals to mastering grooming techniques like bathing, brushing, drying, and nail trimming, she quickly gained hands-on experience. At home, Tammie managed a small farm with animals ranging from ducks and chickens to sheep, pigs and lizards. Her true calling in animal care took off when she joined a veterinary practice, where she rose to the role of boarding supervisor. Over a decade, Tammie developed expertise in pet boarding and daycare, alongside cross-training as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. From treatment plans and medication administration to appointment scheduling and maintaining a pristine, safe environment, Tammie’s commitment to exceptional care shines through in every aspect of Mother Puppers.
